Angle Tint Tool Elliptical

Spitstickers, or elliptical tint tools, are shaped like the base of a shield and are used primarily for drawing and outlining. The deeper you cut, the wider your line will be; by varying your pressure, you can produce a line that varies in thickness from beginning to end. The E C Lyons tools are made from high grade carbon steel that is factory sharpened, but requires extra honing before use on end grain hardwood, copper, zinc, other metals and thick engraving plastics.
