WATERCOLOUR
The main requirement for a good watercolour paper is that it will accept a watercolour wash in an even manner. It is the degree of sizing which controls the amount of water absorption into the paper. Some papers are only internally sized however many watercolour papers are both internally and externally sized.
Arches Aquarelle
Arches Paper from France. 100% cotton, gelatin sized, four deckled edges. Highest quality watercolour paper. Hot pressed (smooth) is also recommended for lithography, screenprinting and relief printing, and digital printing. Warm white tone.
