A light sensitive solution that is designed to allow the artist to create line, tonal and gradated marks. A screen is coated with the emulsion and then a photographic positive transparency is plavced over the emulsion. The screen is exposed to UV light. After exposure the opaque lines or tones of the positive will be washed away leaving the areas open to printing.

An excellent way to start out. There are two kits. One for fabric printing and the other for printing onto paper. Both kits offer everything you need to start screenprinting.

Draw your design with the drawing fluid onto a clean screen and allow to dry. Squeegee speedball filler over the ink and dry. Wash out screen with cold water - this will dissolve ink and °ßopen°® drawn areas to allow ink through. The screen filler is removed with warm to hot water & ammonia-based detergent. Speedball filler can be used with both water & solvent based inks under normal conditions.

Pre-stretched screens are made from long-lasting cedar frames stretched with strong monofilament cloth and sealed with resin. Please contact us if you require a special size made.
